Elsevier Operations: Gen AI Bronze Level Learning Pathway

Welcome to the first in a series of Gen AI learning pathways designed specifically for members of Elsevier Operations. This introduction to Generative AI at Elsevier consists of 3 modules plus a knowledge check, and takes around an hour to complete. On completing this course, you will understand:- Fundamental AI concepts such as Machine Learning, Gen AI and LLMs, AI Hallucinations, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)- Elsevier's AI Principles - Responsible and Ethical AI Practices- Basic Prompt Engineering and the key features of ElsevierAI ProThe content combines videos that give a general introduction to Gen AI with bespoke content about ElsevierAI Pro, which is our own secure version of ChatGPT. (Note that ChatGPT is only to be used for work purposes with an Enterprise license.) Details of other Elsevier-approved AI tools can be found in the Optional Resources section at the bottom of this page.If you have previously completed courses on Gen AI in Percipio, you may find that some content is already marked as complete. If this is the case, you are not required to rewatch those videos, although you may find it useful to do so.
